Ikon lamp

A lamp shade in porcelain originally designed for the Ikon restaurant in Stockholm. MKID is developing the lamp and will produce and sell it  during 2018. The lamp will be produced in Sweden.

By acknowledging the fact that many times the vacuum cleaner is left outside the cleaning closet, or where storage simply does not exist in compact living, the AP / VC proposes a use case where the device should not be stored, but be left out in the home to continue passively cleaning the air even when the user is not there - thusly needing to adopt a more easily tolerated form language and materiality than is currently found on the VC market.

Overflow

An object in two sizes that works as well on a floor as on a table. The shape hides what’s on the other side. An object that can be used as it is, upside down or combine and stack.

BESPOKE LED LIGHTING THROUGH DIGITAL FABRICATION

Ljusverket bespoke LED lights are made using digital fabrication tools. The project has focused on finding a flexible way of producing lights that can satisfy the needs of different situations and environments. 

The lights are unique in that they offer not only a customizeable appearance but that each parameter also affects the resulting light. Hard and widespread work light or a soft, focused dining spot and everything in between are possible to make through leverage of a parametric design algorithm.
